As it became known, videos about the game accumulated a total of 3.4 billion views in the first 60 days after the release of Elden Ring. For comparison, GTA V hit 1.9 billion when it launched in 2013 and Red Dead Redemption 2 hit 1.4 billion in 2018.

IGN notes that the above comparison isn’t entirely accurate, as YouTube has grown rapidly in recent years: The mega-popular The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim once amassed “only” 476 million views.

YouTube Gaming is also in no hurry to call the launch of Elden Ring the biggest game release in the history of the service, but that doesn’t make the achievements of FromSoftware’s latest creation any less obvious.

The most popular video was blogger CoryxKenshin’s “Elden Ring is Rage Game of 2022” (6.2 million views), RageGamingVideos received the most attention from channels (71.6 million), and enthusiast Let Me Solo Her garnered over 25 million views .

Margit flashed the nickname Dire Omen more often than other bosses in the Elden Ring video (Malenia was only in second place), and among the classes, the Samurai was the most sought-after.

Elden Ring debuted on February 25th on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. At the end of March (i.e. just 34 days after the release), the total worldwide sales of the game exceeded 13.4 million copies.
