YouTube allowed regular users to test Playables games

After the internal testing phase, Google began allowing regular users to test its new Playables gaming initiative. The portal reports 9to5Google.

As mentioned in 9to5Google, on September 5, YouTube’s ongoing experiments and testing section appeared on the Google support site record about the start of public testing of Playables.

Google refers to games that can be played directly on YouTube as playables. The “new experience” Available to users both in a browser on a PC and on mobile devices running iOS and Android.

Those invited to take the test will see a new section on YouTube, Playables – you can access your play history and saved progress in “YouTube History”.

YouTube currently accepts trial versions “limited number of users”. It’s not clear when to wait for the expansion of the Playables test audience and the full launch of the new section.
