As one of the major releases of 2023, Starfield has predictably drawn comparisons to other similar titles from years past. Blogger Bear Gaming Asia has previously compared Bethesda’s space RPG to Cyberpunk 2077 and Fallout 4.

The physics of water, the effects of explosions, the reaction of bystanders and the police to the player’s instantaneous actions (intimidating with a gun, opening fire, throwing a grenade) – all these elements are better fleshed out in Cyberpunk 2077 than in Starfield.
Comparisons with Fallout 4 – the predecessor project of Bethesda Game Studios – did not turn out in favor of Starfield. The 2015 game featured armor dismemberment and damage, as well as underwater diving.
It is worth noting that even when it was released in December 2020, Cyberpunk 2077 was inferior to games of previous years (including Fallout 4) in many of the above parameters, but thanks to post-release updates it has become richer in such details.
“Okay Cyberpunk, keep the ads. Starfield, you are now the new cyberpunk”gave the game CD Projekt RED a non-existent award Barney Google. “Makes Cyberpunk Appreciate Even More”admitted bigpileofpuke.
Starfield disappointed players with the inability to seamlessly explore space: it took the streamer seven hours to get to Pluto, but in the end her ship just flew through the dwarf planet.
Starfield is expected to release September 6th on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass (PC and Xbox). Beginning September 1st, the game will be available to Premium and Collector’s Edition buyers.
