Xiaomi will launch the Poco F4 5G smartphone with HDR10+ support next Thursday

The Chinese company Xiaomi has published a series of teasers revealing the characteristics of the mid-range smartphone Poco F4 5G and the date of its official presentation: the device will be available next Thursday, April 23.

The developer confirms the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. The chip combines eight Kryo 585 cores clocked up to 3.2 GHz, an Adreno 650 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X55 5G cellular modem.

Teasers say that the novelty will receive up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a UFS 3.1 flash drive with a capacity of up to 256 GB. The efficient LiquidCool 2.0 cooling system is also mentioned, as is protection against moisture and dust according to the IP53 standard. It is powered by a 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

The smartphone gets a 6.67-inch Full HD + AMOLED display. The refresh rate of the panel is up to 120 Hz, the peak brightness – 1300 cd / m2. We are talking about support for HDR10+ and 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space.

The front camera should be able to form 20-megapixel images. The triple rear camera includes a 64-megapixel main unit with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel wide-angle module and a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
