The Poco brand, created by Xiaomi, is preparing for the release of a new mid-range smartphone with support for fifth generation cellular communications. Network sources report that the device will enter the commercial market under the name Poco M4 Pro 5G.

Information about the device appeared in the databases of a number of regulators, in particular, on the websites of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and the Chinese Telecommunications Equipment Certification Center (TENAA). This means that the novelty is preparing for an international release.

The smartphone will be based on one of the MediaTek Dimensity series processors with an integrated 5G modem. Buyers will be offered models with 4 and 6 GB of RAM, equipped with a flash drive with a capacity of 64 and 128 GB, respectively.

It speaks of support for 33W fast charging. The battery capacity is rumored to be 5000 mAh.

There is no information about the characteristics of the display yet, but, most likely, a Full HD + format panel will be used. The equipment, according to available information, will include a multi-module camera with a 64-megapixel main sensor.

The Poco M4 Pro 5G model will ship with Android 11 operating system complemented by MIUI 12.5 user interface.
