Xiaomi is preparing a smartphone with a 4K screen and means of identification by the iris of the eyes

The Chinese company Xiaomi, according to internet sources, is preparing to release a smartphone with a number of interesting characteristics. Images of the device have already been released on the website of the China Telecommunications Equipment Certification Authority (TENAA).

It is reported that the device will receive a 6.55-inch display that folds over the sides of the case. An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panel with a 4K resolution (3840 × 2160 pixels) will be used.

Another feature of the smartphone will be support for biometric user identification by the iris of the eyes.

The equipment will include an unnamed processor operating at a clock speed of up to 2.4 GHz. The device will be able to work in mobile networks of the fifth generation (5G).

It is said about the availability of up to 16 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of up to 512 GB. Power will be provided by a rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh.

The dimensions and weight of the device are also indicated – 158.34 × 71.5 × 6.98 mm and 166 g. There is no information about the configuration of the cameras yet.

There are speculations that the novelty may enter the commercial market under the name Xiaomi CC11 Pro. The official presentation is likely to take place in the current quarter.
