Xiaomi has introduced the mid-price smartphone Redmi Note 13 Pro+. The new product has a large OLED display with flagship characteristics, a MediaTek processor and protection against dust and moisture according to the IP68 standard. According to the manufacturer, the price of the smartphone is 1899 yuan, which corresponds to $261 for the cheapest variant.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ features a 6.67-inch OLED display with curved edges, a resolution of 2712 × 1220 pixels, 12-bit color depth, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space fitted. The brightness is 1200 cd/m2and the maximum brightness when playing HDR content is 1800 cd/m2. The PWM backlight control frequency is 1920Hz.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is based on the new 4nm Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset with four Cortex-A715 cores and four Cortex-A510 cores. According to Xiaomi, the chip was modified by MediaTek to use all the functions of the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition main camera sensor with a resolution of 200 megapixels built into the smartphone. The sensor has a size of 1/1.4 inch and is equipped with optics with an f/1.65 aperture. The rear camera unit is complemented by an ultra-wide-angle lens with an 8-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel macro module. The front camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels. The optical fingerprint scanner is located under the screen.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ received a 5000 mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging. The battery is 100% charged in just 19 minutes.
At the time of launch, Xiaomi offers the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ in Midnight Dark, Mirror White, Light Dream and a special camouflage version of the smartphone created in collaboration with fashion clothing brand AAPE.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ price starts at 1899 yuan ($261) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage version. Phones with 512GB of internal storage combined with 12 and 16GB of RAM cost 2,099 yuan ($288) and 2,199 yuan ($302), respectively.
As expected, the Redmi Note 13 series was launched exclusively in China. However, Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ to the global market early next year, although possibly with slightly different specifications.
