The day after tomorrow, August 3rd, a crowdfunding campaign will launch to organize the release of the Xiaomi Mijia Glasses Camera device, a hybrid between a wearable camera and augmented reality (AR) glasses.

The novelty is equipped with a micro-OLED display and an optical prism. The pixel density is 328 PPI (dots per inch), the peak brightness is 3000 cd/m²2. Blue light reduction features are provided to reduce eye fatigue.
It is based on an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor working in tandem with 3GB of RAM. The capacity of the built-in flash drive is 32 GB. A 1020 mAh battery with a 10 watt charge provides energy: 80% of the energy reserve can be stored in approx. 30 minutes.
The glasses are equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel periscope module with optical stabilization. There is a 5x optical and a 15x hybrid zoom. The device can store video footage for 10 seconds before pressing the record button.
The real-time translation functions between English and Chinese are mentioned, as well as the intelligent assistant Xiao Ai. The gadget weighs about 100 g. The price at the crowdfunding program stage is $370 and increases to $400 thereafter.
