In parallel with the presentation of the flagship of the Xiaomi 12T series of smartphones, Xiaomi, without much excitement, released the budget smartphone Redmi A1 + at a price of only $ 85.
The new model is based on a MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core processor clocked at up to 2 GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8300 graphics accelerator. The size of the LPDDR4X RAM is 2 or 3 GB, the capacity of the eMMC 5.1 flash drive is 32 GB. The storage capacity can be expanded up to 1 TB with a microSD card slot.
The Redmi A1+ is equipped with a 6.52-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution (1600 × 720 pixels), 60 Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. A waterdrop notch at the top of the display houses a 5-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls. The rear camera of the smartphone includes an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture with an additional 0.3-megapixel sensor. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back.
The 5000mAh battery with support for 10W wired fast charging provides up to 30 hours of battery life on calls and up to 22 hours of video playback.
The smartphone’s specifications also include Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, two SIM card slots, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device runs Android 12 Go Edition. Body color – light blue, light green and black.
