Xiaomi introduced Redmi K70 and K70 Pro – smartphones with super bright screens, 120W charging and flagship Snapdragon

Xiaomi introduced the Redmi K70 series smartphones in China, the upcoming announcement of which was revealed last week. The new series includes the flagship model Redmi K70 Pro, the pre-flagship smartphone Redmi K70 and the productive mid-range device Redmi K70E.

The Redmi K70 Pro and Redmi K70 smartphones are equipped with the same 6.67-inch flat OLED screens with a 2K resolution (3200 × 1440 pixels). The screen used in both new products was developed jointly with TCL Huaxing and is equipped with the new C8 phosphor, which offers a maximum brightness of up to 4000 nits2. The screen resolution is 3200 × 1440 pixels, the refresh rate is 120 Hz, and the touch sampling rate is 2160 Hz. The screen supports PWM backlight control with a frequency of 3840 Hz, 12-bit color depth, as well as HDR10+ and technologies Dolby Vision. The screen aspect ratio is 20:9, the contrast ratio is 5,000,000:1.

The price of the Redmi K70 Pro 12/256GB is 3299 yuan (about $465). The cost of the top model Redmi K70 Pro 24GB + 1TB is 4399 yuan (approximately $621). The price of the Redmi K70 starts at 2499 yuan (about $352) for the model with 12/256 GB storage. The cost of the version with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of flash storage is 3399 yuan ($480).

Smartphones can be pre-ordered starting today; sales of new products in China begin on December 1st.
