An Xbox spokesperson told IGN that the company will be hosting its own digital Xbox Games Showcase in lieu of the June 11 conference. It takes place as part of E3 Digital, a digital program available to users from all over the world.
However, questions remain for Microsoft. For example, it’s not clear if the Xbox booths will be present at E3 2023 or if the company is just broadcasting the show. Edition IGN has not received an answer to this question at the time of writing this note. In addition, the involvement of other major publishers remains unclear. E3 2023 organizers said they will have booths from them but have not provided the list of companies.
Previously, IGN reported that Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo will not officially be part of E3 2023. The latter has already officially announced this. But Microsoft in January calledwhich will be returning to Los Angeles this summer – that’s where the E3 show is being held.
