In February, Microsoft promised to publish all of its own games and Activision Blizzard projects (including Call of Duty) available on PC for 10 years through NVIDIA’s GeForce Now cloud service, provided the publisher’s acquisition occurs. However, there was no need to wait for the deal to be approved.

How became knownAs of today, May 18, the first Xbox game appeared in the GeForce Now catalog – we’re talking about a third-person action film Gears 5. The shooter includes a story campaign that can be played both solo and in co-op as well as a range of PvE and PvP modes.
Following Gears 5, more titles from Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks will debut in GeForce Now, starting May 25 with shooter Deathloop, survival sim Grounded, and RPG detective Pentiment. NVIDIA promises regular updates to its cloud service with Xbox games.

GeForce Now users can stream listed games purchased from Steam (Microsoft Store support coming in the coming months) via “Almost every device”including weak PCs, Macs, iOS and Android gadgets, NVIDIA Shield TVs, supported Smart TVs, etc.
GeForce Now Priority subscribers ($50 for half a year) can play Gears 5 or any other title from the catalog in 1080p at 60 fps, while Ultimate plan subscribers ($100) get an enhanced experience in 4K at 120 fps or 240 fps enjoy frames /s for extra low latency.
