With the announcement of the Pixel 7a, Google dropped the price of the Pixel 6a to $349

Google officially unveiled the Pixel 7a yesterday. However, the company hasn’t stopped shipments of last year’s Pixel 6a model, opting instead to keep it on the shelves and lower the cost.

Google has already reduced the price of the Pixel 6a smartphone to $299 over the New Year holidays. However, it was only a holiday event at the time. Now the manufacturer has lowered the official price of the device to $349. As such, the Pixel 6a is now available for $100 off the starting price.

Keep in mind that the Pixel 6a comes with a 6.1-inch display with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The device is based on a 5 nm Google Tensor processor (two Cortex-X1 cores with a frequency of 2.8 GHz, two Cortex-A76 with a frequency of 2.25 GHz and four Cortex-A55 with a frequency of 1.8 GHz). The chip is equipped with a Mali-G78 MP20 graphics core. The smartphone has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space and is also equipped with a 12.2 megapixel camera. In reviews, journalists called this device one of the best in the sub-$500 smartphone category.

The Pixel 7a is based on the Tensor G2 platform (two Cortex-X1 cores at 2.85 GHz, two Cortex-A78 at 2.35 GHz and four Cortex-A55 at 1.8 GHz) with a Mali-G710 MP7 -Graphic core. The novelty received a 6.13-inch display with a resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space. The device is equipped with a 64-megapixel main camera.
