“We know Scissors is popular with Insiders, so we’re excited to introduce built-in screen recording in this update. The Snipping tool has always made it quick and easy to capture and share content from your computer, and the built-in screen recording feature opens up new possibilities for capturing other types of content.”says the message that released in the developer blog.

To start interacting with the screen recording tool, simply launch the Snipping tool and go to the Recording tab, where you can select the area of the screen that you want to capture. After the video recording is complete, the user can view the result and then save it or share it with someone using any of the available methods.

A developer post indicates that the beta version of the snipping app may be unstable. For example, in some cases there may be a slight delay between pressing the button to start recording and the actual recording beginning. In addition, in some cases, the application window may not be restored automatically after the recording of a new fragment is completed.
