“I experience insane stuttering in games. CPU usage in games has dropped significantly, in some cases from 80% to 5%. I just reverted to the latest update and my gaming experience has greatly improved.”, — wrote one of the members of the Reddit community. Similar reports appeared not only on Reddit, but also on other social networks and on Microsoft’s support page.

According to user reports on Microsoft’s support site, many of them have experienced a significant drop in CPU usage in games after installing Windows 11 22H2. Most of the time, the CPU load drops to 5%, which leads to a drop in performance in games.

NVIDIA is reportedly investigating the issue, but there has been no announcement yet. At the moment the only solution to the problem is to undo the update and go back to the previous version of the operating system. Microsoft officials have not yet commented on this issue.
