What kind of neural network is used to generate stickers from a text description in WhatsApp is still unknown. The description only says that stickers are generated with it “Secure technology offered by Meta». It is expected that users will be able to create simple personalized images using a text description that can be used as stickers.

Users can react to the generated stickers and inform admins if they find certain images inappropriate. According to the available data, the stickers created with the AI algorithm are easily recognizable, indicating the presence of watermarks used to mark them or other marks indicating that the images were created by a neural network. According to the source Meta I’m also working on the integration with Instagram special labels that identify content created using neural networks.
