Last week, Vivo introduced the mid-budget smartphone Y54s, built on the affordable 5G platform MediaTek Dimensity 700. Now the company is launching a more advanced device – Vivo Y74s boasts a more powerful chipset and a more advanced main camera, which, like the younger model, combines everything two sensors.
Vivo Y74s is based on the 6nm Dimensity 810 chipset, which contains two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores, six energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The processor works in tandem with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The capacity of the drive, made according to the UFS 2.2 standard, reaches 256 GB.
A 6.58-inch IPS-matrix is used as a screen, the refresh rate of which is only 60 Hz. The display resolution corresponds to Full HD +. The rear camera of Vivo Y74s is represented by a dual module that combines a main 50-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The resolution of the front camera located in the teardrop notch of the screen is 8 megapixels.
The Vivo Y74s is powered by a 4100mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. The smartphone boasts a 3.5mm jack for wired headphones and a fingerprint scanner built into the power button. The device runs Android 11 out of the box.
Vivo Y74s is available in blue and black. The cost of the smartphone is $ 360.
