Vivo has officially announced the Y21e mid-range smartphone, which is based on the Qualcomm hardware platform and the FuntouchOS 12 operating system based on Android 11.
The device is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 processor that combines eight Kryo 265 cores clocked up to 2.4 GHz, an Adreno 610 graphics accelerator and a Snapdragon X11 LTE modem. The amount of RAM is 3 GB with the possibility of increasing it by 0.5 GB due to virtual RAM.
The novelty is equipped with a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The 8-megapixel selfie camera is housed in a waterdrop notch at the top of the screen. On the back there is a dual camera with a 13-megapixel main unit (f/2.2) and a 2-megapixel auxiliary module (f/2.4).
The smartphone is equipped with a flash drive with a capacity of 64 GB (plus a microSD card). The fingerprint scanner is attached to the side of the case. A 5000 mAh battery is responsible for the power supply, which supports charging at 18 watts via a USB Type-C port.
The device is available in Midnight Blue and Diamond Glow color options for an estimated price of $175.
