Vivo Y100 5G smartphone launched with Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 and 80W fast charging

Vivo introduced the Y100 5G smartphone in the mid-range price segment, which boasts a fairly advanced 50-megapixel camera and support for 80W fast charging.

The Vivo Y100 5G smartphone is based on a 4nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, complemented by 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 flash storage with a capacity of up to 256GB. With support for microSD memory cards, the storage can be expanded by 1TB.

On the back there is a 50-megapixel main camera with autofocus and f/1.8 aperture, complemented by an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera (f/2.2). The resolution of the front camera is 8 megapixels. The smartphone is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution (2400 × 1080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. An under-screen fingerprint scanner is used to unlock the device.

The power source is a 5000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, which enables a charge from 1 to 45% in just 15 minutes. The smartphone’s specifications also include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless adapters, an NFC chip and a USB Type-C port. The device runs Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14.

The smartphone is available in black (Black Onyx) and purple (Purple Orchid). The price of the model with 8 and 128 GB storage is $246, the price of the Vivo Y100 5G 8/256 GB version is $265.
