Vivo launched the iQOO 9 flagship smartphones in China earlier last month. Now the company has announced the international release date of the devices. New items will hit the global market in a little less than two weeks, on February 23rd.
Remember that iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro are based on the current flagship chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Both devices have a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a Resolution of 3200 × 1440 pixels. Both devices are equipped with triple main cameras.
At the same time, the iQOO 9 model combines the main 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 sensor, a 13-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel sensor with portrait optics. iQOO 9 Pro offers users the same Samsung GN5 main sensor complemented by 50MP and 12MP sensors. Another difference is that iQOO 9 Pro can offer 50W wireless and 10W reverse charging in addition to 120W wired fast charging like iQOO 9.
Since the iQOO 9 series smartphones have already been officially launched in China and their specifications are known, the main question is how much they will cost in the international market. Keep in mind that Chinese prices start at $629 for the iQOO 9 and $785 for the iQOO 9 Pro.
