Online sources report that the mid-range smartphone V25e with a MediaTek processor and FunTouch OS based on Android 12 will soon appear in the range of the Chinese company Vivo.
The novelty will replace the Vivo V23e model shown in the first picture. The device will be based on the Helio G99 processor: the chip combines eight computing cores (2 × Arm Cortex-A76 and 6 × Arm Cortex-A55) with a clock frequency of up to 2.2 GHz, an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 graphics accelerator and an LTE modem.
Information about the Vivo V25e smartphone has already appeared in the Google Play Console database. The amount of RAM is given as 8 GB. It is expected that modifications with a flash drive with a capacity of 128 and 256 GB will go on sale.
It is known that the device is equipped with a Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 × 2404 pixels and a pixel density of 440 DPI (dots per inch). Apparently, there is a cutout for the selfie camera at the top of the screen. Other features have not yet been announced.
Information about the novelty also appeared on the website of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC). This means that the Vivo V25e model will also appear on the European market.
According to IDC estimates, around 286.0 million smartphones were shipped worldwide in the second quarter of this year, down 8.7% from a year ago. In the list of leading providers, Vivo ranks fourth with a share of 8.7%.
