The Chinese electronics manufacturer Vivo has officially introduced the Vivo S17e smartphone, which belongs to the mid-range devices. The novelty will be available in various configurations and will go on sale soon.
The developers have equipped the smartphone with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with rounded edges. A panel with support for Full HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a viewing angle of 60° is used. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the display area.
There is a hole at the top of the display that houses the 16-megapixel front camera. The main camera is housed in a rectangular module on the back of the case. It combines a 64-megapixel sensor with support for optical stabilization and an additional 2-megapixel sensor. The camera is complemented by circular Aura LED lighting.
The Vivo S17e is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7200 microprocessor (two Cortex-A715 cores up to 2.8 GHz and six Cortex-A510 cores up to 2.0 GHz). The Mali-G610 MC4 accelerator is responsible for graphics processing. The device will come in versions with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. A rechargeable battery with a capacity of 4600 mAh with support for fast charging up to 66 W ensures autonomous operation. A USB Type-C interface is available for connecting the charger.
The Vivo S17e supports communication networks of the fifth generation (5G), the installation of two SIM cards and is also equipped with stereo speakers. Wireless connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi 6 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.3 modules. There is a GPS satellite signal receiver and an integrated NFC chip for contactless payments. The device runs on the Android 13 operating system with a proprietary interface OriginOS 3.
The Vivo S17e measures 164.20 x 74.90 x 7.4mm and weighs 178g. The smartphone will be available in three body colors: Quick Sand, Sunny Blue and Midnight Black. The 8GB RAM/128GB version is $300, the 8GB RAM/256GB version is $330, and the 12GB RAM/256GB model is around $360 -Dollar.
