Vivo launches Y75 5G mid-range smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip

Vivo has already released seven smartphones this month and it looks like it won’t stop there. Today the Chinese brand announced the mid-range Vivo Y75 5G with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and a large battery.

The Vivo Y75 5G is an upgraded version of the Y55 5G that was launched in early January. Unlike the younger model, the novelty received increased RAM from 4 to 8 GB, which can be expanded up to 12 GB due to the paging file. The resolution of the front camera has increased from 8 megapixels to 16 megapixels. Otherwise, the properties of the devices are the same.

The Vivo Y75 5G features a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display, 128 GB of storage and a triple rear camera with a 50 MP main sensor and two 2 MP secondary sensors. The operating system uses Android 11 with a proprietary Funtouch OS 12 shell.

The battery capacity of the Vivo Y75 5G is 5000 mAh. 18W fast charging via USB Type-C is supported. Security is ensured by a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button. The Vivo Y75 5G is available in black and gradient pink/blue colors for $290.
