Vivo has introduced the iQOO Z7s smartphone, the newest member of the Z7 series. Unlike the iQOO Z7i released in March, which was the first smartphone with a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 single-chip platform, the new product is based on an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor.
The iQOO Z7s features a 6.38-inch FHD+ (2400×1080 pixels) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz. The peak brightness is 1300 cd/m²2. At the top of the screen, in a waterdrop notch, is a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
On the back is a 64-megapixel main camera with support for optical image stabilization and a 2-megapixel scene depth sensor. In addition to the Snapdragon 695 5G chip with the Adreno 619L graphics accelerator, the device has 6/8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB flash drive on board. There is also a slot for microSD memory cards.
The 4500mAh battery supports 44W fast charging. The smartphone’s specs also include Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1 wireless adapters, a USB-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and IP54 water and dust resistance. An in-display fingerprint scanner is used to unlock the device.
The smartphone runs Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13. The device is available in the colors black (Pacific Night) and blue (Norway Blue). The cost of the iQOO Z7s 6/128GB is $230, while the iQOO Z7s 8/128GB model is $242.
