The Chinese company Vivo has announced a powerful iQOO 9T smartphone with the Funtouch OS 12.1 operating system based on Android 12. The novelty will go on sale on August 2nd in black and in the “Racing” version from BMW M Motorsport.
The device is equipped with a 6.78″ Samsung E5 AMOLED FHD+ display with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 1500 cd/m²2 and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. Mentioned HDR10 support. A 16-megapixel selfie camera sits in the center hole at the top of the screen. A fingerprint scanner is integrated in the panel area.
The flagship processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 with eight cores clocked at up to 3.2 GHz is installed. In addition, there is a Vivo V1+ chip that increases the efficiency of image processing.
The triple rear camera combines a 50 megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN5 sensor with optical stabilization, a 13 megapixel wide-angle module and a 12 megapixel Sony IMX663 sensor with 2x optical zoom.
Other features are as follows: Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 adapters, stereo speakers, an NFC controller and a USB Type-C port. A 4700 mAh battery with 120 W fast charging is used.
Buyers can choose between versions with 8 and 12 GB of RAM, which are equipped with a 128 and 256 GB drive respectively. The price is $630 and $690.
