Vivo has quietly unveiled two new budget smartphones. These devices were named Y10 and Y10 (t1 version). The innovations are almost identical except for the chipset, drive type and Bluetooth version. They come in the same color options and are priced the same.
The base Vivo Y10 comes with a MediaTek Helio P35 chipset partnered with 4GB of RAM. The eMMC storage capacity is 128 GB. The Vivo Y10 (t1 version) uses the more advanced Helio P70, which is also complemented by 4GB of RAM. The storage capacity is also 128 GB, but in this case we are talking about faster UFS 2.1 storage. In addition, Y10 (t1 version) offers users Bluetooth 5.1 instead of 5.0 in the base model.
Both smartphones feature a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate. At the top of the display is an 8-megapixel selfie sensor in a waterdrop notch. The main camera is represented by a dual module that combines 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors. Boxes of new products are made of plastic. With a weight of 179 grams, the dimensions of the devices are 163.96 × 75.2 × 8.28 mm.
Both devices work on 4G networks, have dual-band WiFi modules and support the main navigation systems, including GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, GALILEO and QZSS. The smartphones use a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support. MicroUSB is used as an interface connector. A 3.5 mm audio jack is available for connecting wired headphones.
New items come with Android 11 pre-installed. They come in blue and dark gray colors. The cost of both smartphones is $173.
