The new iQOO Neo7 features a large 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5000mAh battery that supports fast charging technology. The new version is based on the 4nm Dimensity 8200 mobile platform, which has four Cortex-A78 cores (one can run at up to 3.1GHz and three more at 3.0GHz) and four Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz includes as Mali-G610 MC6 graphics. The smartphone has a large evaporation chamber and numerous layers of graphite plates for cooling.

The same smartphone for the Chinese market had a Dimensity 9000+ chipset, the Neo7 Racing Edition had a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and the Neo7 SE also had a Dimensity 8200. The Neo7 smartphone is available with 8 and 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and that Android 13 operating system in the FuntouchOS 13 shell (the manufacturer promises an update to Android 15).

The 6.78-inch AMOLED display got a resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels and a screen ratio of 20:9. A refresh rate of 120Hz is supported, although you can choose 60Hz or 90Hz for displaying content and 30Hz for Always On Display. Users can manually adjust the maximum brightness up to 500 cd/m²2and the peak value reaches 1000 cd/m²2. The display is HDR10+ compatible.

Usually the screen sampling rate is 300 Hz, but there is also a special game mode – up to 1200 Hz. Also in Ultra Game mode you can set up to six specific actions based on motion detection using a gyroscope and an accelerometer. This functionality is specifically supported by the New State game and will be supported by other games including Call of Duty Mobile in the future. In addition, some games offer frame rates of up to 90 FPS.

Charging FlashCharge supports a power of 120 W, the smartphone is charged from 1 to 50% in 10 minutes, up to 100% in 25 minutes. For comparison, on the Neo6 model, an 80W charge delivered speeds of 12 and 32 minutes, respectively. In addition, last year’s model had a battery capacity of 300 mAh less. There are two charging modes: fast, which doesn’t heat up the battery, and super-fast, which lets you charge at full speed. The battery is expected to last 1000 charge cycles before capacity drops to 80%.

The Neo7 camera received a 64-megapixel 1/1.97-inch ISOCELL GW3 sensor based on ISOCELL 2.0 technology. This iQOO generation lacks the ultra wide-angle camera and only has the main module, the macro module and the depth sensor.

Available options iQOO Neo7 blue and black colors. The base model with 8/128 GB RAM/ROM costs $360, the variant with 12/256 GB costs $410.
