Vivo has postponed the global premiere of the X70 series of advanced smartphones

Smartphones of the Vivo X70 series will be presented in China on September 9, and the world premiere of new advanced smartphones was scheduled for the next day. Nevertheless, the company unexpectedly revised its plans and postponed the debut of new products for several days.

Now the manufacturer is on his website indicatesthat it will premiere on 13 September. Probably, the debut of smartphones will take place a day before the premiere of the iPhone 13, which is expected to take place on the 14th. However, the models are in different price points and hardly have a common target audience.

It is known that the global versions will be sold in Cosmic Black and Dawn of Aurora housings, and the cameras will receive Zeiss optics with three-axis image stabilization. Judging by the previous data, the usual Vivo X70 will receive a 6.58-inch display with a resolution of 2376 × 1080 pixels and, probably, a fingerprint scanner integrated under the display. It was expected that the novelty will be released on the mobile platform Dimensity 1200, but the website of the Chinese regulator TENAA also mentions a model with the Exynos chipset.

Vivo X70 will be equipped with a triple camera with a main 40-megapixel sensor (as well as two at 12 megapixels), a 32-megapixel selfie module and a flash drive of 128, 256 or 512 GB. The model will run Android 11.

The Pro version will receive a main quad camera with a main 50-megapixel sensor, two 12-megapixel cameras, and an 8 megapixel module. The front panel houses a 32-megapixel selfie module. The device will receive a 6.56-inch AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution and curved edges. According to reports, the model will be built on the flagship platform MediaTek – Dimensity 1200, will use 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of ROM (expansion with memory cards is possible). Battery capacity – 4380 mAh, 55 W fast charging is supported.

Finally, the oldest in the X70 Pro Plus series will have a 6.7-inch curved display and could get the flagship Snapdragon 888+ SoC.
