Microsoft and Bethesda Game Studios are gearing up for a detailed reveal of Starfield gameplay in June at Starfield Direct. The show was announced earlier this month along with a release date for the RPG shooter itself.
Although the game’s September 6 release is still a long way off, the Australian Classification Board has already rated Starfield. The regulator has rated the project R18+ Restricted (“Adults Only”). The entry notes that the reason for this was the possibility of hard drug use and violence in the game. There are also references to swear words and adult themes, as well as some nudity.
Note that Fallout 3, Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim have been classified as MA15+ (“For people over 15 years old”) by the Australian Classification Board.
Starfield launches September 6th on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The game is available now in Game Pass. The upcoming Starfield Direct is scheduled for June 11th.
