Video: Intro, Open World, and Co-op in New Far Cry 6 Gameplay Trailers From Journalists & Bloggers

IGN, for example, shared a 17-minute intro from Far Cry 6. The segment was recorded on a PlayStation 5 console at 4K resolution at 60 fps.

The unveiled video demonstrates the choice of character, the basics of stealth, jogging through the blood-drenched sewers, walking on roofs and other people’s apartments, as well as the denouement of the boat scene from the June trailer for the game.

YouTube blogger MKIceAndFire took it a step further and posted the first three hours of Far Cry 6, including his open-world adventures. The video reflects the quality of the game on a PC (4K, 60 fps, ray tracing).

In the meantime, the PlayStation Access YouTube channel released video with a demonstration of the cooperative mode Far Cry 6 for two people. Recall that the entire storyline campaign of the project can be paired with a friend.

The events of Far Cry 6 will unfold on the territory of the fictional tropical country of Yara, which is pushed around by the dictator Anton Castillo. The hero will become part of the resistance and challenge the despot who oppresses his people.

Far Cry 6 will go on sale October 7 for PC (Uplay, EGS), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, as well as Google Stadia and Amazon Luna. In early September, the game went gold.
