IGN Portal presented Four exclusive footage of the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl platform fighting game from GameMill Entertainment and developers from Ludosity and Fair Play Labs.
Recall that the main feature of the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is the ability to take control of Nickelodeon cartoon characters – so far, about a dozen fighters have been confirmed.
In the first IGN video, Ludosity’s character designer and programmer Thaddeus Crews talked about the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl’s combat system, attack types, and movement options.
Three other IGN videos show excerpts from combat between specific characters. Two fights are held in a 1v1 format: April O’Neill versus Nigel Thornberry and Catopes versus Lucy Loud.
The last fight turned out to be the largest – four characters participate in it (each for himself): Leonardo and April O’Neill from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as SpongeBob and Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants.
Among other things, the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl promises 20 themed arenas, single and multiplayer modes with support for up to four players in local or online multiplayer.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is in development for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Nintendo Switch. According to a recent leak, the game will go on sale on October 5th – officially scheduled for release in the fall.
