Developer of the independent Austrian studio Mi’pu’mi Games (The Lion’s Song, The Flower Collectors) arranged Gameplay demo of his next game, the folklore tactics Howl.
Howl events will unfold in the medieval world of animated ink. The dark plague Howl, which turns humans into werewolves, is terrorizing the country. Players in the role of a deaf prophet must create their own prophecy and find salvation.
The battles take place in turn-based mode: the player must rely on his ingenuity and available information to predict the actions of enemies (up to six turns in advance) and get rid of them with the help of weapons (ammunition is limited) and skills.
During the 13-minute demo, developer Howl showed how to progress through the first few levels, explained the basics of gameplay, talked about enemy behavior and how to get additional in-game rewards.
