Various versions of the GeForce RTX 4080 appeared on the US store with prices ranging from $1199 to $1550

One of the largest consumer electronics retailers in the US, MicroCenter, has announced retail prices for various versions of the GeForce RTX 4080 graphics card that are scheduled to go on sale next week. The VideoCardz portal drew attention to this.

The store has 13 versions of the GeForce RTX 4080. Prices for them range from the recommended $1199 to $1550. Most cards are more expensive than the recommended value. The most expensive options are solutions from ASUS. For example, the flagship version of the GeForce RTX 4080 ROG Strix OC costs $1,550, which is $350 more than the recommended price and just $50 less than the reference version of the flagship GeForce RTX 4090.

A cheaper option is the GeForce RTX 4080 TUF Gaming version. With a factory overclocked GPU, the card costs $1,500. At the same time, the non-factory overclocked version is $300 off the recommended $1199.99. According to the VideoCardz portal, NVIDIA “persistently asked its partners” to have at least one version of the accelerator in their assortment at the recommended price.

The flagship variants of the MSI GeForce RTX 4080 Suprim X and Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 Aorus Master are $150 and $200 over the recommended price, respectively. At least four variants will be available at the recommended price. As mentioned above, these are the ASUS GeForce RTX 4080 TUF Gaming models, as well as the PNY GeForce RTX 4080 XLR8 Verto, Zotac GeForce RTX 4080 Trinity and Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4080 Eagle models – all without factory GPU overclocking.

Strangely, none of these cards are available for purchase online. You have to go to the store. The GeForce RTX 4080 is scheduled to go on sale on November 16th.
