Recall that developers reported last week that total sales of V Rising through May 20 surpassed 500,000 copies worldwide in the first three days after entering early access.

As it became known, sales of V Rising reached 1 million copies in the evening of May 24, a week after its release. Stunlock Studios thanked everyone involved in this achievement in their announcement speech.

Meanwhile, V Rising continues to garner positive reviews on Steam, with user ratings up to 88% based on 13,000 reviews. Peak online reached 150,000 players on May 23rd.

V Rising debuted on Steam Early Access on May 17th. Players take on the role of a vampire awakened from a long sleep to fight, hunt humans, rebuild a castle, and avoid sunlight.
