In addition to the traditional large-scale seasonal sales, in 2024 there will be festivals of demo versions “Games to Be” and thematic sales of games of a certain category (these are also called festivals).
The official Steam event schedule for the first three months of 2024 is as follows:
- Festival of Capitalism and Economy (games for money) – from January 8th to 15th;
- Festival “Pirates vs. Ninjas” (games about pirates and/or ninjas) – from January 22nd to 29th;
- Games to Be Festival – February 5-12;
- Remote Play Together Festival (Remote Play Together supported games) – February 12-19;
- Dinosaurs vs. Robots Festival (games about dinosaurs and/or robots) – February 26th to March 4th;
- Spring sales – from March 14 to 21;
- Deck Building Festival (card games) – March 25th to April 1st.
Valve has assured that it has no plans to change the schedule or participating events, but reserves the right to make necessary adjustments to the schedule.
For now, however, users should focus on the 2023 Steam sales plan presented in February. The upcoming event is the Shoot ’em up Festival, which will take place from September 25th to October 2nd.
