Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Reimagined was built from the ground up (without using any source material or code) in Unreal Engine 4 and includes remastered elements from last year’s Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One.

Frogwares also promises additional gameplay mechanics, animations and side quests, all-new voice acting, improvements to the camera, interface, cutscenes, a partially rewritten storyline and features to improve comfort.

Per the plot of The Awakened, young Sherlock and Watson are taken for their first serious affair, which turns into something far more supernatural and sinister. The new version of the game will be a continuation of Chapter One.

Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened Remake will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. Frogwares will raise additional funds for development via Kickstarter – the first trailer and new details will be released when the campaign starts.
