Portal of the game industry shared information on the sale of retail editions of games in the UK for the period 1st to 7th May. The week was marked by a lack of high profile releases.

Sports games compilation Nintendo Switch Sports held its own at the top despite a 32% drop in sales. A similar situation (-24% and second place) is the adventure action game LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
Post-apocalyptic open-world action game Horizon Forbidden West improved its performance with an additional PlayStation 5 shipment to the region, up from fourth place a week earlier (+108%).

In terms of new releases, the only debutant of the week was the retail version of the melee action game Sifu. The game started at number 9 (81% of copies sold were on PS5).
