In conversation with Simple allies A Ubisoft spokesman explained that the return to the roots of Assassin’s Creed Mirage announced at the time of the announcement not only affects the gameplay (emphasis on stealth, seamless parkour, eagle vision) but also the size of the map.
“You compared [Багдад из Mirage] specifically with Constantinople in Assassin’s Creed Revelations and Paris in Assassin’s Creed Unity”– said Easy Allies employee Michael Huber (Michael Huber) in a podcast following the results of the Summer Game Fest.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be set 20 years before Valhalla and 300 years before the original Assassin’s Creed. Players take on the role of young Basim ibn Ishaq and must evolve from street thief to master assassin.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on October 12th on PC (EGS, Ubisoft Connect), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and the Luna service. As part of the June issue of Ubisoft Forward, the developers showed 8 minutes of gameplay.
