Remember that Skull and Bones was announced in 2017. In January 2023, the game was rescheduled for the sixth time to achieve an acceptable level of polish and balance.

Skull and Bones has yet to make a strong impression (including reportedly on tester), but Ubisoft CFO Frederick Duguet is confident this will change when gamers see it “improved version” Project.

“We said in January that we were very happy with the tests we ran in early January and now we have a very solid and improved version that players haven’t seen.”remarked Duguet.

Duguet added that next month Ubisoft will focus on further promoting Skull and Bones. Whether these are new showings of the game or public trials is not clear.

    An open

An open “beta” of Skull and Bones was announced back in September, but so far there has been no word on it

The financial report did not detail the timing of Skull and Bones’ release. After the most recent postponement, publication is expected at the beginning of the next financial year, i.e. after April 1st.

Skull and Bones is being developed for PC (Ubisoft Connect, Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and Amazon Luna. Players must evolve from stranded outcast to become the most famous pirate in the Indian Ocean.
