A special main address has been added to the Tor network (https://twitter3e4tixl4xyajtrzo62zg5vztmjuricljdp2c5kshju4avyoid.onion), as well as two others intended for official purposes. In addition, the Tor browser was added to the list of officially supported browsers in a special side in the Twitter help section. “Increasing the availability of our service is a special priority for us”– commented on the innovation for publication motherboard platform representative.
Already in 2014, another major social network, Facebook, opened the official address in Tor. And this way of connecting to the platform proved to be very popular: back in 2016, 1 million Facebook users connected through Tor.
