Tomorrow the final patch for Battlefield 2042 will be released before the start of the second season

Publisher Electronic Arts in collaboration with developers at DICE and Ripple Effect Studios uncovered Details and exact release date of Update 1.2 for its online military shooter Battlefield 2042.

The main features of 1.2 include the promised improvements to the Kaleidoscope map (new shelters, positions for flags, elevation changes and visual adjustments) and changes in the appearance of specialists towards realism.

Also, the patch brings with it a profile (rank, experience, unlockables) and stats (kills, deaths, their ratio, assists, revives, shooting accuracy and their count) of the player.

Version 1.2 includes hundreds of balance adjustments (weaker BSV-M rifle, 30mm RAH-68 Huron and YG-99 Hannibal) and improved aim assist on controllers, among others. For the full list of changes see EA website.

Update 1.2 for Battlefield 2042 starts tomorrow, August 2nd, on PC (Steam, Origin, EGS), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. From June 9th the game will have its first season (Zero Hour) and the launch of the second is expected in August – the next patch will be released at the same time.
