As has been announced, the patch, which will be released today, August 2nd, will complement F1 22’s Algarve circuit in the Portuguese city of Portimão (Portimão). The track was also in F1 2021 (it also appeared post-release), but it’s only now coming to the new game.

The Portuguese track in F1 22 will be available in Time Trial, Grand Prix and Multiplayer modes. A video showing a fast lap around the Algarve in F1 22 is attached below.

Additionally, on September 12, the Chinese circuit will debut another free update in F1 22 at the Shanghai International Circuit, which has not hosted Formula 1 races since 2019 (due to COVID-19 restrictions).

F1 22 debuted on June 28th for Champions Edition owners and became available to everyone else on July 1st. The game was released on PC (Steam, Origin, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S.
