Today’s patch brings new river raids, nightmarish difficulty and more to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Publishing Ubisoft in a publication on its official website has shared the details update 1.3.1 for the Scandinavian action game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla from Ubisoft Montreal.

In the River Raids mode, players will have access to new rivers (Erriff, Berba, Rhine), rewards, abilities (Spinning Harpoon, Crushing Arrow, Accurate Ax Throw) and upgrades (for the Yomsvikings Hall and River Drakkar).

Also, the changes affected the runes – now they will affect (if we are not talking about armor) only on the weapon for which they are selected. In addition, with the release of 1.3.1, trait and rune effects will be able to stack and accumulate without restrictions.

In addition, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will have a “nightmarish” difficulty level: more damage taken by 200%, the effectiveness of provisions is reduced by 40%, and the time window for parrying is reduced by 38%.

Finally, in version 1.3.1, numerous bugs were fixed in various aspects of the game and its add-ons, as well as the overall performance and stability of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Update 1.3.1 for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be released today, September 7 at 3:00 pm ET, on all target platforms of the game. The size of the patch will range from 14.3 GB (PS5) to 34 GB (Xbox Series X and S).

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on PC (Uplay, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Google Stadia. In the first half of August, the project came out with a plot addition “Siege of Paris”.
