To run Android apps on Windows 11, you need a PC with an SSD

Microsoft recently released the first major update to Windows 11, bringing support for the Amazon Appstore marketplace and the ability to run Android apps on the operating system. Now the technical requirements for a PC for this function have become known.

The Amazon Appstore is available on the Microsoft Store, currently only for Windows 11 owners in the US. society released System requirements to run Android apps: Users are recommended to have a computer with an SSD drive.

The list of minimum requirements includes: SSD, at least 8 GB RAM (16 GB recommended), 8th generation Intel Core i3 processors, AMD Ryzen 3000, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8c or higher. Valid processor architecture is x64 or Arm64. Hardware support for virtualization tools is required to run Android applications.

Recently, Google has started testing its own tool for running Android programs on PC. The Play Games for PC solution is in beta testing and allows you to run Android games on your PC.
