According to Halk Hogan, he was frustrated with the low-resolution textures flashing too often in Bethesda Game Studios’ space role-playing game, so he decided to improve this aspect of the game.

“Of course, as always, the project is focused on achieving the maximum quality of the textures (and possibly models in the future), maintaining good performance and making good use of the video memory.”,- assured Halk Hogan.

The first developments to improve Starfield textures were shared by the modder in the announcement video of the new HD Reworked Project (attached above). The difference is visible to the naked eye.

Halk Hogan’s improved Starfield environments and the speed at which the modder updated them surprised early viewers. “This mod is a must”– thinks Tony Soprano.

The Starfield HD Reworked Project is still in the early stages of development, but Halk Hogan assures that the first version of the mod won’t be long in coming. The enthusiast did not give any specific data.

Halk Hogan also assured that he hadn’t forgotten HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and HD Reworked Project 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077. Work continues and new information will appear soon.
