Thermaltake has expanded the The Tower series of computer cases with the new The Tower 500. The manufacturer’s range already includes The Tower 900 and The Tower 100. The first is a huge and spacious tower for E-ATX motherboards, the second is designed for assembling miniature gaming systems. The Tower 500, on the other hand, is the solution for everyone for whom The Tower 900 is too big and The Tower 100 is too small.
The housing dimensions of the Thermaltake The Tower 500 are 608 × 388 × 388 mm. That said, it’s bigger than The Tower 100 but smaller than The Tower 900. Like the rest of the series, the novelty offers a panoramic view of the main components of the assembled system. The front and side parts of the housing are made of 4 mm thick tempered glass.
Like the older model The Tower 900, the Tower 500 allows you to place an E-ATX motherboard inside. Inside there is also space for up to eight 3.5-inch hard drives and a three-slot graphics card up to 355 mm long.
The height of the CPU cooler is limited to 275 mm. There are slots for mounting up to eight 120 mm or six 140 mm fans. In addition, the installation of LSS radiators up to 240 mm (above) and 280 mm (below) format is supported.
Commercially available computer cases Thermaltake The Tower 500 are expected to appear in the second quarter of 2022. The manufacturer does not provide any information about the new price.
