Thermaltake announces its first DDR5 memory modules

Thermaltake introduced ToughRAM RC DDR5 memory modules – the company’s first DDR5 products. The announcement took place as part of the Thermaltake Expo virtual exhibition in January 2022.

The family currently includes modules with a frequency of 4800, 5200 and 5600 MHz. The supply voltage and times were not disclosed. At the same time, there is talk of compatibility with the proprietary Floe RC and Floe RC Ultra liquid cooling systems.

The memory supports Error Correction Control (ECC) and has an integrated Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) for accurate data transmission and reduced power consumption.

Declared compatibility with 12th generation Intel Core processors. In addition, support for Intel XMP 3.0 overclocking profiles has been implemented. An aluminum radiator is responsible for heat dissipation.

ToughRAM RC DDR5 modules will go on sale at the end of this quarter. Later on, ToughRAM XG RGB products will be available with multi-colored lighting.
