The update was released for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, but the lion’s share of changes only apply to current-gen PC and consoles. We are currently working on a patch for the Switch version.
This is how “Through Time and Space” became on PC, PS5, Xbox Series.
Added support for Intel XeSS on PCs, fixed DirectX 11 crashes on AMD graphics cards, improved global lighting and ray tracing reflection performance. Also, splashes from puddles on the screen are no longer purple.

On all platforms, the In the Shadow of Eternal Fire quest background music is now muted upon completion, the ability to automatically apply oils in battle has been added, and Geralt can no longer eat or drink anything underwater except for elixirs and decoctions.
“We agree that you can still hydrate underwater by uncorking a bottle, but chewing fried meat or drinking beer from a mug is already beyond the realm of possibility.”— the authors explained the latest change.
