Recall that the sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man was presented at the show PlayStation Showcase 2021 and was supposed to be released in 2023, but in December 2022 the developers of Insomniac Games announced more precise dates – autumn 2023.

According to Todd, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released in September. The American actor, based on the information received, drew this conclusion that a large-scale marketing campaign for the game will begin in August.

“Looks like September! Big promotion in August. I was told the commercials would come out in August. Hold on… and hold your breath! It will be necessary”— said Todd speaking to a fan.

Video Games Chronicle editors confirm that their sources have also hinted at the September release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The original Marvel’s Spider-Man also came out in the first month of fall.

When it premieres in September, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will go head-to-head with the massive Xbox-exclusive space RPG Starfield, which will be released on September 6th. Judging by Todd’s choice of words, the superhero action film could theoretically still be postponed.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is being developed exclusively for the PlayStation 5. The game pits Peter Parker and Miles Morales as their versions of Spider-Man against Venom and other famous villains.
