Motorola has already officially confirmed the preparation of a new smartphone with a flexible screen – the RAZR 3 clamshell model, codenamed Maven. The smartphone is expected to be one of the first to be based on the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform.
Thanks to a well-known network whistleblower nicknamed @evleaks, a short video has already surfaced online that gives a glimpse of what the device looks like. The design of the novelty has changed significantly compared to both the original RAZR 2019 and the RAZR 5G of 2020.
The “chin” on the bottom of the device has almost completely been eliminated by the new RAZR – the novelty is more reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy Flip models than Motorola’s first foldable smartphones.
In addition, there are two main cameras – one more than before – as well as a hole in the top center of the internal screen for taking selfies. The display itself doesn’t appear to have any noticeable crease at all along the fold line.
The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the side lock button and the external screen is quite large, in this regard Samsung models including the Galaxy Z Flip 3 will hardly be able to compete with the smartphone, other leaks and even official teasers will in the near future appear.
